RAPIDS CLOSURE

THERE WILL BE NO MONDAY CLUB NIGHT AND EXTRA TRAINING SESSIONS AT ROMSEY RAPIDS THROUGHOUT DECEMBER

As the Rapids will not be available throughout December 2005 due to their re-construction programme, Monday Club Night swimmers will be able to attend Totton Recreation Centre on Friday evenings for the remaining 2-3 weeks of the term (please check with the Club Coach which session time you should attend).

The last extra training session available at the Rapids will therefore be on Saturday December 3rd 2005 (0725 to 0825). Swimmers who attend Wednesday night sessions and Saturday mornings will be able to choose the Hounsdown School session on Thursday evenings (1830 to 1930), or Totton Recreation session on Sunday morning (0900 to 1030). For the younger swimmers in extra training, there is also a session available at Totton Recreation Centre on a Tuesday evening – again please check with the Club Coach which sessions would be suitable for you.

Monday Club Nights, Wednesday night and Saturday morning training will resume from Saturday January 14th 2006 (provisional date subject to confirmation from Romsey Rapids).

Please note: this applies to Club swimmers only, not lesson swimmers.
